  • For all new patient appointments:

It is important to stop all antihistamines for 3 days prior to your appointment. This includes (but not limited to):

All cough and cold medications

Allergy medications such as… Benadryl, Reactine, Aerius, Claritin, Chlortripilon, Atarax, etc, Gravol

CONTINUE TO TAKE ALL OF YOUR ASTHMA MEDICATIONS

(e.g. Inhalers, Singulair)

Bring a list of all medications that you are currently taking.

NOTE: If you have concerns about certain food allergies:

  • Feel free to bring a small amount of the raw food in separate sealed containers or baggies so we can use it for skin testing, if needed
  • Please bring labels (ingredients) of packaged food that you feel may have caused the problem
  • Bring an up-to-date valid health card– Expect to be at your appointment for up to 2 hours, please plan accordingly
  • Due to the nature of our clinic, do not wear any perfumes or other scented products as this puts our other patients at risk.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice .

For Follow-Up Patients: You do not need to stop your antihistamines unless Dr. Ellis has specifically told you to do so. Please continue to bring your medication list with you at every visit.
